Big Steps Forward: Streamlining Data & Reporting at easyHotel

After months of collaboration and problem-solving across easyHotel, we’re excited to share some big wins from the data & reporting project!

 

Thanks to the hard work of our teams, we’ve:


Mapped out our reporting landscape. Scoping out how many reports we use, what’s new on the wish list, and how everything connects. This insight has helped us outline a strategy for a new, streamlined reporting flow that will make it easier for everyone to access reports and data from one trusted source.

Agreed on key definitions. With a massive amount of help and input from across the business, we’ve built a shared glossary of definitions. This will help keep our reports consistent and cohesive and help you understand the reports more easily. 

Automated the Flush report. A massive time-saver for our Operations team. By centralizing this process, we’re able to save up to an hour a day per property, five days a week, across 30 properties. That’s a whopping 7,800 hours a year back in the team’s hands.

Launched daily Pick-up reports for every hotel. These are now sent automatically to Hotel Managers, giving them daily insights into performance. This long-requested feature has been a game-changer.
