Lately, it’s been all about teamwork and growth, with many teams coming together to collaborate and develop fresh ideas.
Two key AHMs meetings took place recently — one in The Hague and another in Sheffield — where regional AHMs gathered to share best practices and support each other’s development.
In The Hague, AHMs from the Netherlands and France spent two days catching up on business updates and exchanging ideas about what’s working well. Meanwhile, the UK and Ireland AHMs met in Sheffield this week for focused training, sharpening their skills and building stronger connections.
Additionally, last month saw the first-ever training day for Maintenance Supervisors. Investing in our people is crucial to retaining top talent. Our UK maintenance supervisors came together in Sheffield to meet key suppliers and take part in training. Having the right tools to get the job done is a top priority, and we’ve invested in training and tool kits across all UK hotels. This enables supervisors to tackle repairs — from chipped floor tiles to doors and bedroom case goods — boosting their skills while protecting our assets and enhancing the guest experience. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and it’s something we’re keen to repeat next year!
A big thank you to everyone involved for their energy, commitment, and feedback for the sessions. Here’s to many more successful months ahead!
