Barcelona La Sagrera – one month in!

It’s been nearly a month since easyHotel Barcelona La Sagrera opened its doors, our fourth hotel in Spain and another big step in our growing footprint across the country. 

Set in the northeast of the city with quick metro links to the centre, the hotel includes a breakfast room, outdoor terrace and parking. The building was previously an unused indoor market, and its transformation has helped bring new energy and purpose to the area. 

Barcelona follows the opening of Madrid Alcalá, with Valencia and Alicante coming soon as we continue to grow across key Spanish cities. 

A huge thank you to everyone involved in making it happen - especially Adrian, our interim Hotel Manager, for guiding the team through opening week. And a warm welcome to Borja, who’s now officially leading the team at La Sagrera. 

One of our favourite moments from the opening: Adrian and Receptionist Yubi welcoming our very first guests - a couple from the US on their first-ever trip to Europe. A brilliant start all round.
