Comfort That Counts: 11:00am Check-Out Coming to all owned and leased easyHotels

At easyHotel, we're always looking for ways to improve the guest experience while staying true to our company vision of ‘great-value stays that never compromise on comfort.’


Earlier this year, we launched a trial extending our standard check-out time from 10:00am to 11:00am at a selection of hotels. The aim was simple: to understand whether providing guests with an extra hour in the morning would improve satisfaction while maintaining operational efficiency.


Compared with our competitors, easyHotel had one of the earliest standard check-out times. Moving to 11:00am gives guests who want it, a more useful extra hour and also makes easyHotel a stronger option for those comparing hotels before booking.


As well as moving us up the league table of hotel brands check out times, we also reviewed the impact on late check-out sales. Trial hotels recorded a large decline in 12:00 late check-out purchases of 52%, while 13:00 late check-out purchases were mainly flat.


We also worked closely with hotel teams throughout the pilot to assess operational impact. Thanks to the support and feedback from our trial hotels, we were able to confirm that the later departure time can be delivered successfully while maintaining smooth hotel operations.


We are therefore pleased to confirm that all easyHotel hotels can now roll out 11:00am standard check-out. Please make sure that this is done by Monday 3rd August. Hotels can roll it out earlier if they want.


The change will give guests more flexibility, provide a more comfortable end to their stay, and bring us closer in line with guest expectations across the market. It is another example of how we are enhancing comfort through simple, meaningful improvements that matter to our guests.
