Madrid Alcalá celebrates opening with official launch event

We’re excited to share that we officially launched our Madrid Alcalá hotel on 12 June and what a day it was. 

Located in the east of the city, our 94-room hotel had already been welcoming guests for a few weeks, but the launch event served as a vital platform to spotlight the property to local businesses, developers, and investors. It wasn’t just about celebrating a new opening – it was a chance to put easyHotel front and centre, driving interest in the hotel itself while also reinforcing our brand’s growth ambitions across Europe. Our CEO, Karim Malak, led the proceedings, joined by journalists, partners, and public figures from across the travel and business sectors. He was also joined by Almudena Maillo, Delegate for Tourism and District Councillor for San Blas-Canillejas, who shared her support for the opening and the value it brings to the local area. 

Huge credit to the Miguel and the rest of the Madrid team who’ve done a brilliant job getting everything up and running. We’re delighted to officially welcome them into the easy family. 

Spain continues to be a key growth market for us with new openings still to come this year in Barcelona La Sagrera and Valencia Ciutat Vella. Plenty more milestones ahead.
